Course aims
Minor. The objective of the course is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the creation and editing of different types of digital media files.
Brief description of the course
Different types of media, their representation in analog and digital form, their usage. Animations. Digital sound recording and editing, basics of sound use, simple speech synthesis etc. Digital video recording and editing. Basics of MIDI. Audio- and videocompression.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Kursuse põhiosa koosneb loengutest ja praktikumides kus üliõpilastelt eeldatakse aktiivset kaasamõtlemist ja -töötamist. Lisaks tuleb üliõpilastel iseseisva tööna luua ja töödelda animatsiooni-, heli- ja videofaile.
