Course aims

To deepen the didactical knowledge to carry out the Home Economics lessons in general school

Brief description of the course

Planning, and aiming of the Home Economics studies. Demonstration of work, use of teaching resources. Work with a textbook and any other additional material. ICT in Home Economics lessons. Substance-specific teaching and learning methods and their implementation. Taking into account the special needs of students in Home Economics classes. Evaluation and assessment. The structure of Home Economics lessons . The preparation for the lesson. Conducting lessons and giving feedback.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the contemporary methods of Home Economics Studies
- is able to plan Home Economics studies and lessons, evaluate and analyze herself as a teacher
