Course aims
To establish the conditions for linking the previous teaching experience and acquired knowledge with the school reality;
To enable the student to develop as a teacher of Handicraft and Home Economics;
To support the student’s ability of communicate with the school community as a teacher, and to contribute to the image of the teacher’s professional role;
To assist the students in planning their own professional development.
Brief description of the course
Teaching practice II offer students to get experience as a teacher of Handicraft and Home Economics and class teacher in school context. The student shall watch and analyse the classes (10) given by the subject teachers and/or other students, she shall prepare and perform the classes of Handicraft and Home Economics (30) and analyse her activities as a teacher of these subjects.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to see the links between the previously acquired knowledge, the experiences through the teaching practice and the school reality;
- uses appropriate teaching/learning methods, considering the topic, objectives for the lesson and the age of the learners;
- analyzes and education process of their activities in accordance with the intended objectives and the underlying documents, is able to plan further action on this basis, compile the development takes into account the practice of informal substantive and formal requirements;
- complies with the rules of courtesy and always guided by a teacher of ethics, practice makes cooperation with supervisors and others related to the practice of people;
- is able to follow different practices in schools.
