Course aims
To create an opportunity for the interpretation of a helping process based on visual art therapy.
Brief description of the course
Stages of helping process. Objective of helping process. Visual art based methods, exercises and techniques during the different stages of helping process. The structure of a visual art therapy session. The role of the art work created by the client during the helping process.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
An overview of the nature of a visual art based helping process; ability to choose and use visual art based methods and exercises in a helping process, taking into account the objective and dynamics.
