Course aims
Acquiring the methodological and didactic basics of the concept of dance movement for well-being (DMW).
Brief description of the course
In this course the methodological and didactic basics of the concept of dance movement for well-being (DMW) will be acquired. Different approaches for holding a lesson are studied practically and theoretically by special consideration how to conduct a group and the effects of DMW. Different subjects or themes can be used as starting points to form the creative moving process e.g. the LMS, mediums or images. Learning takes place step by step: first the students will create short unities independently that are held and supervised during the course; later on the students will show two demonstration lessons during the course, that are supervised. Process based study requires active participation in classes (75%).Independent work: work with the literature; creating exercises, preparation of two lessons, that will be held and supervised during the course; peer-group work.

Upon completing the course the student:
Skills to structure movement processes and exercises differently;
Skills to use different leading styles and to analyse the individual style;
Skills to work with the holistic principle;
Skills to lead group feedbacks;
Skills to work with the concept with different target groups in a creative way.
