Course aims
Support the development of student's musical ear, rhythm and harmony perception and musical memory. Encourage the formation of skills to write music by ear and sing simple intervals and chords at a given pitch.
Brief description of the course
Developing musical memory and musical ear by writing down single-voice dictations (including rhythm dictations). Developing internal hearing by singing simple intervals and chords at a given pitch.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to sing and write down single-voice diatonic dictations and rhythm dictations, simple intervals and chords.
