Course aims
The objective is to teach professional methodological skills for reducing and preventing most common health risks.
Brief description of the course
HIV/AIDS prevention and sexuality education. Drug prevention: smoking, alcohol and other, drug abuse. Violence prevention. Conflict resolution (Win-win method) Critical life skills in HE. Myth clarification (Beliefs). The methodology of peer counseling and peer meditation. Self esteem and communication. Objectives and values in life. Life style topics in HE curriculum: integration. Nutrition. Fitnesse.
Teaching advertising strategies. Media education. Emotional and physical stress. Coping with stress in healthy ways. Skills for copig with stress and prevention principle as most effective method for stress management. Teaching methodoly. Positive thinking as most effective way for avoiding depression.
