Course aims
To provide practical knowledge and skills to make independent decisions when choosing appropriate media analysis methods and interpret the results based on media planning concepts, goals, profiling the audience, chosen media channel and media strategy.
Brief description of the course
Media planning is entry level course that provides an overview of media planning concepts and goals, principles and methods of audience, medium, timing and cost and media influence.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows topics and concepts of media planning and main problems of it;
- has an overview of media planning tools;
- understands media planning as a process and is prepared to make realistic media planning goals;
- knows how to apply acquired knowledge in practice, is able to develop and evaluate media plans.
