Course aims
The aim of the course is to be able to search and find independantly topics for writing a feature, to give prerequisites searching and finding topics and material for writing feature and reportage.
Brief description of the course
Course consists of theory lectures, analysis of best stories appared in journalism in Estonia, seminars and discussions and works to defend them.
The course begins with writing reports. The second half of the course, students must write a short feature (maximum length of each story is 6000 characters including spaces).
All tasks must be performed during the course of uploaded in Moodle course page, where student is able to find insturctions of the tasks.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Students know how to plan writing feature and reportage according to certain requirements. Students know how to find sources. Students know how to describe activity as well that reader would feel as he had been in presence of the activity.
