Course aims
Aim of the course is to know main theories and problems of ethics nowadays; to know moral dilemmas and how to analyze them; to learn how to put professional ethical codex (foremost ethical codex in journalism); knowledge of selfregulation.
Brief description of the course
Topics: ethical relativism; absolutism and objectivism; values; egoism and altruism; main theories of ethics; ethical problems and principles of As independent work student must read course materials, to understand the topics covered in seminars, and knowing how to use that information.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Student is able to make racional and moral decisions , by using professional ethical codex, therefore is able to explain them to others in case of conflicts appearing in journalism.
