Course aims
The aim of the course is to create opportunities for understanding the necessity of lifelong learning and to develop readiness to shape specialty training;
to support the development of the student's planning and execution of research and development activity skills.
Brief description of the course
The student independently adds to their professional theoretical knowledge as part of the course and creates a development project (development research) with the aim of developing professional vocational training. The student examines and analyses the current situation in their field of specialty and profession (specialty regulations, technological and work procedure innovations) as well as future developments and creates study materials that develop or promote professional vocational training and/or makes concrete and justified proposals for the development of specialty training in vocational training. The development project is supervised by a university lecturer and reviewed by a specialist from the field of specialty. The student outlines and defends their development project during the exam.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- analyses developments in their field of specialty by presenting technological changes and changes in work processes;
- analyses the situation in their field of speciality, highlighting development needs and opportunities in vocational education;
- creates a development plan for the speciality in accordance with general innovations in the specialty field and the needs of vocational training.
