Course aims
The objective of the course is to support the development of the student's ability to plan and conduct the vocal training process of their technical speciality and develop preparedness to integrate real-scientific bases in vocational training.
Brief description of the course
Curricula of technical vocational education. Didactic aspects of technical vocational education. The peculiarities of the learning environment in technical education, technical teaching materials and other teaching assets. Theory and practice in the field of technical vocational education. The interconnectedness of real-sciences and technical vocational education curricula. Technical tasks, laboratory work, practical work, study trips focusing on theory. Teaching methods in technical vocational education (problem-based learning, demonstrative, verbal and practical methods etc.). Moulding practical proficiency through internships. Instructing, teaching working techniques, practising, independent production work. The planning and conducting of the training process. The student will independently work with relevant mandatory literature and e-learning materials, will compose a study portfolio and prepare sample teaching lessons. Independent learning is supported by the e-course.

The Student
- Analyses the didactic system, highlighting the didactic links on the basis of the technical vocational training curriculum;
- Analyses technical vocational training teaching materials, including how purposeful, up to date and didactically effective they are;
- Plans the student-centred learning process of technical education by integrating real-science bases with theoretical and practical training;
- Reflects upon their designed and conducted training process according to evaluation criteria and feedback received.
