Course aims
The aim of the subject is to provide the teacher with the necessary basic communication skills and to create the foundations for cooperative relationships with parents and colleagues.
Brief description of the course
Realtionship building and maintaining skills in teaching. Effective and ineffective communication. Importance of cooperation, partnership skills and principles with parents and colleagues.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- masters practical communication techniques and strategies in different co-operation situations with children, parents and colleagues;
- has knowledge of the importance and possibilities of involving parents in the work of a teacher;
- values cooperation with parents and colleagues in creating conditions that support the student's development and in one's own professional development.
