Course aims

Give an overview of the possible applications of information and communication technology in education and support the development of a learner’s educational technology competencies. To support the development of practical skills and educational technology competencies to use different information and communication technology (ICT) options, methods, and means to diversify the study process.

Brief description of the course

Teacher’s educational technology competencies. ICT in studies. Learning stories and scenarios. Video in the learning process. Digital competencies of the learners.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- analyses and assesses the suitability of ICT means and their use in the learning process;
- analyses their own educational technology competencies;
- uses different ICT options to plan and conduct the study process.
