Course aims
To create the theoretical basis for analysing nature, goals, objectives and functions of information entrepreneurship.
To support the prerequisites for the formation of knowledge about approaches and ways of implementation of information entrepreneurship.
To create the prerequisites for obtaining knowledge for analysing information entrepreneurship.
Brief description of the course
The aim, nature, goals, objectives and functions of information entrepreneurship. Approaches and ways of implementation of information entrepreneurship. Information entrepreneurship and innovation. Information entrepreneurship and change management. Information entrepreneurship and creative industries. The role of memory institutions (museums, archives, libraries) in the frame of creative industries. The role of information in creative industries. Information entrepreneurship for knowledge-based economy and sustainable development of service-based society.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the nature, goals, objectives and functions of information entrepreneurship;
- is able to analyse and assess the basics of approaches and implementations of information entrepreneurship;
- understands the role, potential and challenges of information entrepreneurship in society;
- is able to develop and implement human resources into information entrepreneurship.
