Course aims
To give knowledge on text content analysis in information exchange, on functions and typology of abstracts and review; to develop practical skills on their compiling.
Brief description of the course
Typology of texts, models of content structure and their implementation in the analysis of the texts. Methods of discovering documents content. Coception and types of annotations. Methods of annotation. Concepts and types of abstracts. Main steps in abstracting. Concepts of information review and aim of its compiling. Typology of reviews. Automatic abstracting and media monitoring.
