Course aims
To help each student in choosing and refining her or his master thesis interests and topics. To outline an initial master thesis project.

Brief description of the course
The seminar is intended to facilitate individual orientation choices within the curriculum, and to help students structure their master thesis projects.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- can formulate and present a structured thesis proposal, integrating research strategy, methodology, and ethical considerations;
- can critically review and synthesise academic and industry literature to identify gaps and frame research questions in interaction design;
- is able to select and justify appropriate research methods for the planned thesis study;
- can analyse and discuss emerging academic and industry trends to position the thesis within the wider interaction design landscape.
