Course aims
The purpose of this course is to teach best practices, tools and work methods in the game industry through practical assignments. Students will learn to use project management software, learning agile and scrum project management techniques through game project examples.
Brief description of the course
Agile development principles, time management and budget planning, justifying your decisions, reporting, file naming convention, version control systems. Including. Scrum. Sprints and Iterations. User stories. Teams. Agile planning, design and production QA.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has practical experience with project management software;
- constructs a project plan with deadlines, working hours and budgets;
- has practical experience with version control systems.
