Course aims

To provide students with knowledge and practical skills for creating, using, and applying multimedia tools and technologies in the learning process, in order to support teaching innovation, active learner engagement, and the enhancement of learning outcomes.

Brief description of the course

The role of multimedia in the modern learning process, including learning theories and pedagogical approaches. Multimedia components and tools. Creation of interactive elements and simulations. Planning and development of multimedia learning content. Practical use of multimedia platforms and tools. Multimedia analysis and integration.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- creates multimedia content by applying a variety of hardware and software solutions;
- plans and integrates multimedia-based solutions and content into the learning process;
- critically analyses the potential of multimedia solutions to engage learners and enhance learning;
- understands the importance of digital and media literacy and is able to evaluate and use reliable digital content.
