Course aims
The aim of the master's thesis is to develop students' skills in analysis and in-depth research of a chosen problem, based on modern theories and research methods in the field of the curriculum, as well as to develop skills in writing academic texts.
Brief description of the course
In cooperation with the supervisor, the problem area and topic of the master's thesis are defined, goals are set, studies are planned, conducted, the master's thesis is prepared and defended.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- can choose the appropriate methodology for dealing with the researched problem;
- can carry out an in-depth analysis of the set problem and the literature published by other authors;
- is able to prepare a written work on the basis of master's studies, which presents a systematic and logical approach to a current problem and is in line with the academic requirements for a scientific work;
- has in-depth knowledge in a narrower field of research defined by the master's thesis.
