Course aims
The aim is to:
a) introduce the concept of learning analytics, related concpets, implementation areas and research possibilities:

Brief description of the course
Learning analytics, process of learning analytics, challenges related with the learning analytics, concepts related with the learning analytics, learning analytics’ methodologies and tools, interpreting learning analytics
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the concept of the learning analytics and related concepts;
- is able to evaluate different research and data-analysis methods and to implement them in the different learning analytics actions;
- is able to practice the learning analytics in the different types of data collection, analysis and interpretation processes.
