Course aims

To obtain basic knowledge and skills for creating digital media elements for digital learning resources.

Brief description of the course

Web-based environments for creating and sharing learning resources. Creating multimedia elements for digital learning resources. Basic principles of image, sound and movie editing. Screencasts. Publishing images, presentations, sounds and movies in the web. Podcasting.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows main technologies and tools for creating digital learning resources;
- is able to do basic image, sound and movie editing, and publish images, sound and movie clips in the web.
