Course aims

Practical opportunities for experience from school of teaching computer science in elementary and high school classes. Supporting on previously acquired practical experience students learn the whole learning, curriculum as a whole, own plan of the subject and their interrelations. The course is also aimed at providing participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Collect the experiences of cooperation with teachers.

Brief description of the course

Students participate in a preparatory seminar. They talk to the head of department and teachers, observe and analyse lessons. They prepare lessons and take them and consult pupils. The placement ends with participation in a final seminar. Students must organise students work individually (compile work instructions, supervise pupils, draw conclusions, consult, compile supplementary exercises for those lagging behind).

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows subject plan of informatics in different levels;
- knows subject plan of informatics as a whole;
- can loud science curriculum to prepare informatics lessons;
- can carry lessons out the correct constractions;
- can connect informatics with other subjects and know how to integrate informatics in other subjects.
