Course aims

During professional placement and based on theoretical knowledge acquired before, students become acquainted with school-life, understand and value their subject, acquire practical methods and means for conducting learning and ensuring pupil development, attain experience in cooperation with teachers.

Brief description of the course

Students participate in a preparatory seminar. They talk to the head of department and teachers, observe and analyse lessons. They prepare lessons and take them and consult pupils.

In agreement with the lecturer, a student who has chosen the Educational Technology elective module may complete this traineeship in a company, state agency or other organization in the field of educational technology instead of a school. The student can replace the teaching practice with the tasks of the educational technologist in the same amount of hours.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows subject plan of informatics in different levels;
- knows subject plan of informatics as a whole;
- can loud science curriculum to prepare informatics lessons;
- can carry lessons out the correct constractions;
- can connect informatics with other subjects and know how to integrate informatics in other subjects;
- can arrange extra-curricular actions according to the age.

Aine kuulub hindamisele, kui praktikakoolis on antud nõutud mahus tunde, mille vältel on täidetud II põhipraktika lävendid.

Tulenevalt asjaolust, et Põhipraktika II on seotud kutsekaitsmisega ei ole õppeaine üle kantav VÕTA põhimõttel.
Vastavalt digitehnoloogiate instituudi nõukogu 21.03.2023 istungi otsusele nr 1-6/42 ei rakendata antud aine puhul varasemate õpingute ja töökogemuse (VÕTA) arvestamist.
