Course aims
Support students in the process of composing and defending the bachelor thesis and increase the quality of final papers.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of seminars that introduce the general principles of academic research, provide overview of the most common research methods, discuss generic quality criteria and introduce the principles of structure, presentation, references, use of terminology etc.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to plan the preparation of a written work based on the study results;
- is able to identify current problems and deal with them systematically and logically;
- is able to present the results of the study in accordance with the academic requirements for scientific work.
