Course aims
The objective of the course is to provide general knowledge and practical skills about databases using Microsoft Access and to give an overview of the structure of entity-relationship data model.
Brief description of the course
Tables, different types of data, relationships between tables, creating and running queries, data entry form, creating a report, macros. Using wizards.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Student is able to create databases, create forms andreports using Microsoft Access, create his own sample project, design
the entity-relationship model and design a relevant database.
