Course aims
English as a minor. The students are given an overview of the history, geography, culture and politics of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The topics are illustrated with picture and video material.
Brief description of the course
United Kingdom, general description, geography. History of Great Britain. The royal family. London: sights. Famous places in England. Scotland. Wales. Northern Ireland. National holidays and traditions in Great Britain. Politics in Great Britain.
