Course aims
English as a minor subject. To develop speaking skills in its different forms (monologue, dialogue, discussion). To extend vocabulary using the topical principle. Role-plays and simulations.
Brief description of the course
Parts of the body. Describing appearance. Character. Clothing. Friendship and first love. Weddings: ceremony, customs. Divorce. Bringing up children. Cinema: history, film making, film classics, film festivals and awards.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Skills of speaking; using different forms of speech (monologue, dialogue, discussion).
