Course aims

To give an overview of different counselling techniques.
To develop counselling competences for using educational technology in educational institutions and online.

Brief description of the course

Knowledge of counselling techniques and practical competences will be developed for supporting adults and students. Knowledge and competences for motivating individuals, teams and organizations to use educational technology. Distance counselling techniques and competences. Development of teamwork skills.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- demonstrates the implementation of different digital communication channels, environments and software;
- compiles user guides for the implementation of digital communication channels, environments and software;
- analyses school development activities in the field of educational technology and proposes amendments;
- uses effective counselling and motivating techniques to introduce educational technology in the school setting.
