Course aims
To give an overview on developing language skills, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching and assessment (CEFR) and European language portfolio, the curriculum and teaching materials of Finnish; to enable the skills of prepering lessons and teaching.
Brief description of the course
An overview of developing language skills, curriculum and teaching materials of Finnish, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching and assessment (CEFR) and European language portfolio,connections between acquisition theories and teaching methods. Analyzing and teaching Finnish lessons, preaparing a lessons’ plan.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
-has knowledge of developing language skills, curriculum and teaching materials of Finnish, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching and assessment (CEFR) and European language portfolio,connections between acquisition theories and teaching methods;
- has skills to analyze, plan and teachuse lessons.
