Course aims
To provide sufficient knowledge and skills according to Elementary Chinese 2 level.
Brief description of the course
The course continues developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The course will concentrate on topics related to daily settings, making inquiries and giving answers to given subjects. The usage of adverbs and attributes will be learnt.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
At the end of this course,students are expected to be able to:
Master tone changes.
Identify sounds,forms and meaning of 300 Chinese characters.
Master about 1000 Chinese words related to daily life and school activities.
Know and master structures and functions of attributes and adverbials.
Know and use communicative functions such as inquiries,introductions and descriptions.
