Course aims
A main subject for the Film Sound speciality, during which the student acquires the substantive and technical skills for sound recording and sound design.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of speciality seminars on various elements of sound recording and sound design, performing practical exercises, viewing film exceprts as well as joint analysis of exercises and film excerpts in the classroom.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to independently record and design the sound for a short film within the given framework, taking into account the different stages of creating film sound.
