Course aims

To teach students the basic rules of film language through practical exercises and examples from film history.

Brief description of the course

The course consists of the acquisition of the basic rules of film language through group exercises done based on the chronology of film history, and the review and analysis of and feedback on the exercises and correction of mistakes.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to realise film clips taking into account the basic rules of film language.
