Course aims

Obligatory course that prepares the student for writing the thesis. The aim is to present a variety of scientific research principles; basic elements of research design and thesis writing.

Brief description of the course

The nature of research design. Research plan preparation. Formulating the research problem and research questions. Methodology , methods and techniques. Research data. The use of existing databases in their study. BA thesis writing.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has the basic knowledge of Bachelor's thesis design;
- is prepared for methodological courses.
