Course aims
To create a base for acquiring knowledge from different schools about basketball player_s physical training, individual and collective offensive and defensive play. To endorse the formation of anlyzing skills by theoretical knowledge and practical abilities.
Brief description of the course
Basketball player_s individual and collective work in offensive (fast break, early break and positional offence) and defensive (man-to-man, zone and mixed defence formations) play.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is familiar with individual and collective offensive and defensive play philosophies from various schools of thought;
- is able to analyze competitive matches from the aspects of individual and collective offensive and defensive plays.
