Course aims
To unite previous teaching experience and acquired knowledge with the school reality;
To promote on students’ development as a teacher of the subject;
To support students’ skills of socializing with the school being a teacher and developing the apprehension of the professional role;
To support students’ professional development.

Brief description of the course
Introduction seminar. Observation of the lessons (1 week). Practical studies on gymnasia level (3 weeks): lessons observation, giving and analysing lessons. Form master’s work. Everyday work as a teacher of the subject beyond the lesson. Final seminar.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
1. is able to see connections between the previous learning, practical experience and school reality;
2. is able to conduct lessons:
a. comprehending the knowledge on the subject, connected to them skills and role of the values in the process of pupils’ development;
b. knowing the contents of the subject;
c. using proper methods of teaching;
3. is able to act in the school and to comprehend the role of the teacher, seizing different work tasks (beyond the lessons as well);
4. comprehends that pre-learning is a part of lifelong learning; knows own professional strengths as well as aspect needing improvement.
