Course aims
The aim of the course is to give students basic knowledge of population data collecting possibilities (statistics, sample surveys, census, event registration), quality requirements and credibility.
Brief description of the course
Statistics. Quality requirement. Different possibilities to collect data. State statistics. Usability. Registers. Databases. Event registration. Censuses. Reliability. Document management.
During independent work students have to analyse the credibility of freely chosen data and find out if all quality requirements are being followed.
