Course aims

Support understanding physics as complete system.
To develop a systematic physical world-picture within the framework of the history of physics.

Brief description of the course

The development of human knowledge of physics in different historical epochs. Crucial experiments, which serve as the basis of modern physics. The role of individuals in physical science.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has knowledge and understanding of the basic physical laws;
- has ability to use the knowledge of physics history to orient in physics nowadays physic problems;
- has ability to independently search for physic materials and astronomy materials for term paper.
- can write a report.
