Course aims

The professional placement is aimed at providing students with valuable work experience in the field of biology and giving them an opportunity to choose their topical areas that they can later develop into their major project(s) / Bachelor’s Theses. It also brings the students into direct contact with their potential employers.

Brief description of the course

This practical placement / internship takes students into jobs in the public, private or government sector. Students can pick up essential practical job skills in their major field(s).

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- performs professional tasks responsibly and ethically, copes with teamwork and possible stressful situations, and uses work methods that protect physical and mental health;
- analyzes their professional strengths and development needs and consciously shapes their career and development path based on them.
