Course aims
Major. Overview of animal (i.e. also human) developmental biology, mechanisms and ontogenesis of living organisms. Overview of plant developmental biology. Thematic background for natural science student.
Brief description of the course
Gametogenesis of animal beings, fertilisation, development of fertilised egg cell, ontogenesis, embryonic development, postembryonic development, metamorphosis and regeneration. Human individual development. Cell growth, tissue formation, generation and development of organ systems.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Understanding how the organism developing with different mechanism.
