Course aims

The theoretical material provided for in the lectures is complemented with the demonstration of arrangement knowledge and comparative analysis. As independent work the students will use in practice their musical skills during the course.

Brief description of the course

This course will challenge the students' theoretical, musical and technical skills.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to apply the necessary skills acquired for ensemble play;
- plays the chosen instrument on a sufficient level;
- is able to express himself artistically through the chosen instrument;
- can use the instrument in interplay in different orchestras or ensembles.
