Course aims

The theoretical material provided for in the lectures is complemented with the demonstration of arrangement knowledge and comparative analysis. As independent work the students will use in practice their musical skills during the course.

Brief description of the course

This course will challenge the students' theoretical, musical and technical skills.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows different styles of music;
- knows the instruments, knows their scope and features;
- can use the instrument in different orchestras or ensembles.
