Course aims
Introducing the chosen wind or percussion instrument through more profound study with problem of interpretation.
Brief description of the course
Getting acquainted with scores of different methods of instrument instruction. Expanding the range of articulation marks and dynamics. Minor scales up to 4 key signature. Etudes with different characters, solo pieces with piano accompaniment. A large form – a concert or a sonata for the instrument with piano accompaniment, an extensive piece with piano accompaniment.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Student is capable of playing in chosen instrument Minor scales up to the 4th key signature;
Acquired basic knowledge and skills of the playing different characters etudes and a concert or a sonata for the instrument with piano accompaniment.
