Course aims
Acquiring additional skills and know-how for working with school orchestra. Introducing and explaining terminology and professional language used in the work of a conductor, acquiring specific conducting tools.
Brief description of the course
The principles of the choice of repertoire, work with the score, score reading, facture of a musical work, tessiture, etc., the foundations of orchestra scoring. In individual lessons the techniques of indicating various articulation marks, tempo, phrasing, dynamics, etc. are dealt with. Defining the character of simpler musical works. Conducting orchestra works to the accompaniment of the piano.
