Course aims
To create opportunities:
- for anatomically correct body practice in advanced level;
- to gain experience in the movement patterns of different practitioners and choreographers.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of practical training sessions that develop body awareness and movement ability , as well seminars that analyze movement materials.
The process supports the understanding of the field of contemporary dance and the awareness of the boundaries of action.
Process-based learning requires participation in auditory work: at least 85% attendance at the exam, keeping and presenting the study journal
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- uses anatomically correct body and movement in the context of Western Theatre dance traditions;
- performs movements in a focused and analytical way;
- uses different techniques and approaches to dance movement in the context of Western Theatre dance traditions;
- analyzes and reflects on the work process as both an observer and a participant.
