Course aims
To develop competence to understand organisational risks, to give systematic overview about different types and phases of risks and crisis, to prepare students for effective action in the crisis communication
Brief description of the course
The course is an introduction to risk and crisis communication. Participants will get an overview what is risk and crisis communication from an organizations_ perspective and how can communication contribute to preventing events, threats and risks from becoming to a crisis, or mitigating a crisis from escalating. Participants will also learn how to monitor risks and to develop and improve crisis preparedness and measure organisations´ success in crisis communication. The course will include many examples from practice.
