Course aims
The course is the core subject of the team semester. The aim is to provide learners with theoretical and practical knowledge of the social aspects of learning and to enable them to experience collaborative learning and its impact on individual learning.
Brief description of the course
Social learning - the meaning of social context in learning. Power issues in learning and dialogue. Discourse, roles, identity, subjectivity and learning. Observation as a tool for analyzing social learning. Intervention options. Group and group learning. Study group and its formation. Group processes, formation of group processes and development phases in different stages of training. Group cohesion. Group process analysis. Roles in the group and distribution of group roles. Group tutoring. Group social impact, relationships and group communication. Relationship between learner (s) and group. The nature of individual and group conflict and overcoming it. Resistance, individual conflict and manifestation in training and development teams.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- notices and analyzes learning and the construction of learning discourse in society;
- understands and raises problems of social learning;
- plans an intervention project related to social learning;
- understands individual and group learning;
- can analyze himself / herself as a group member and group learner.
