Course aims
Placement creates prerequisites for the formation of practical skills in the field of andragogy and for giving meaning to the role of a teacher of adults.
Brief description of the course
Becoming acquainted with the training and development programmes of different organisations. Analysis of training and development activities. Giving meaning to and charting the role of a teacher of adults on the labour market and in society. Becoming acquainted with the andragogy community and designing and carrying out activities meant for the community.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- understands the training and development activities of organisations;
- is able to analyse and associate practical situations based on theories; understands and analyses the possibilities of the role of a teacher of adults; designs and carries out activities meant for the andragogy community;
- is able to create a placement portfolio and in it to present an overview of the placement and a self-analysis.
