Course aims
A purpose of this subject is provide the students get overview in robotics possibilities and practical skills to make robotics prototypes.
Introducing basic functionalities.
Brief description of the course
Robotics Technologies and platforms, their specialities. Automated systems in everyday life. Input and output devices: LED, motors, piezos. Basic skills in electronics. Programming Arduino UNO. Developing environment and Processing language. Digital and analoog channels. Additional shields to Arduino. Data communication with computer through COM-port. Creating applications with unusual input devices. Designing and creating devices.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows different input and output devices, also basic terms in robotics and electronics;
- can design and develop intelligent devices, which respond differently due input data;
