Course aims

To give basic knowledge on the Spanish society and culture.

Brief description of the course

The crisis of the 19th century. The Bourbon Restoration. The Second Spanish Republic. The Spanish Civil War. The dictatorship of Francisco Franco. The democratic restoration. The actual society.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has a capability to analyse the most important moments in the history of Spain.
